Sign in with Ola

Buzz uses your Ola identity through Ekam single sign-on. No new password — you're already who you say you are.

You don't create a Buzz account. When you sign in, Buzz hands you to Ekam — Ola's identity service — you approve with your Ola account, and you're back in Buzz as yourself. The same identity works on the desktop app, the mobile app and the browser.

Sign in, step by step

Open Buzz and tap Sign in

On the welcome screen, choose Sign in with Ola.

Approve with your Ola account

You'll see Ekam's familiar Ola login. Pick your work account (the one on your @olaelectric / @olacabs / @krutrim address) and approve.

You're in

Buzz brings you straight back to your community. Do this once per device — after that you stay signed in.

Because it's single sign-on, if you're already logged into Ola in your browser, sign-in can complete in one tap — no password typing at all.

Good to know

  • One identity everywhere. Sign in on your laptop and your phone with the same account and your channels, DMs and history follow you.
  • Nothing to reset. There's no Buzz password, so there's nothing to forget. Password and 2-factor are handled by your Ola account.
  • Switching accounts? If you picked the wrong account, sign out from Buzz's settings and sign in again with the right one.

Seeing a login loop or an “unauthorized” screen in the browser? You're usually signed into a personal Google account in that tab. Open Buzz in a private window, or switch to your Ola work account, and try again. Still stuck? Report it from the button on the welcome page.

Signed in, but Buzz is empty and shows a red relay message? If you get past the Ola login and then see something like “relay returned 403 Forbidden: You must be a relay member to access this relay”, sign-in worked — your account just has not been added to Buzz yet. These are two separate things. Switching Ola accounts or reinstalling will not fix it and a new account only makes a second one to clean up. You will not be able to post in #buzz-help while this is happening — that channel is inside Buzz. Use the Report a bug button on the welcome page instead; it works without access and reaches the team directly. Include that message. (If a colleague can get in, they can also report it in #buzz-help for you.)

On the phone, and it just looks like a bad connection? The same thing wears a different face there. You may sit on a shimmering, half-drawn channel list that never finishes — or get a no-signal icon over “Could not load channels” with “Access denied.” underneath. Both read as network trouble and neither one is. If other apps have signal, this is the same thing as above: sign-in worked, your account has not been added to Buzz yet. Moving to Wi‑Fi, force‑quitting, reinstalling or signing in again will not change it, and a second account only makes more to clean up. Report it with the Report a bug button on the welcome page — you cannot post in #buzz-help while you are blocked, because that channel is inside Buzz. Say you are on the phone.
