Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ANI Technologies Private Limited (“ANI”, “Ola”, “we”, “us” or “our”) processes information when authorized users use Buzz, our workplace communication and collaboration service. Buzz is intended for Ola employees and other users authorized by ANI.

Information we process

• Account and profile information: your corporate email address, name, profile picture, organization or community membership, and the cryptographic public-key identifier used by Buzz.
• Authentication information: Ola single sign-on tokens and an escrowed Buzz signing credential. These credentials are stored in protected device storage where the platform supports it.
• Content and collaboration data: messages, direct messages, reactions, channel activity, profile information, files, images and other content you choose to create or share.
• App and device information: app version, connection state, locally stored preferences, read state and technical logs needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
• Camera and media: photos, videos or QR codes only when you choose a related feature and grant device permission. Buzz does not access your phone contacts or precise location.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate users; provide channels, direct messages, profiles, search, file sharing and device pairing; synchronize activity across authorized devices; maintain security and access controls; diagnose failures; prevent misuse; and meet applicable legal, compliance and corporate-governance obligations.

How information is shared

Content is visible to other authorized Buzz users according to the community, channel and direct-message access controls selected for that content. ANI personnel and service providers may process information when necessary to operate, support, secure or audit Buzz, subject to applicable contractual and organizational safeguards. We do not sell Buzz personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Storage, security and international processing

Buzz uses encrypted network connections. Access to workspace data is controlled through Ola authentication and Buzz community membership. Information may be processed on systems operated by ANI or its approved service providers in India or other locations permitted by ANI policy and applicable law. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Retention and deletion

We retain workspace content, account records, security logs and backups for as long as needed for the service, ANI’s business and security requirements, applicable corporate retention policies, dispute resolution and legal obligations. Logging out removes Buzz credentials, communities, drafts, preferences and cached app data from that device; it does not delete workspace content already sent to Buzz.

To request access, correction or deletion of personal information, contact us using the details below. Requests may be subject to identity verification, applicable law, employment obligations and ANI retention requirements. Buzz does not create a separate consumer account; access is based on an authorized Ola account.

Your choices

You can decline optional camera or media-library permissions in device settings. You can edit profile information and delete supported messages or files in Buzz, subject to workspace permissions and audit or retention requirements.

Children

Buzz is a workplace service and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to Buzz, law or ANI practices. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date.
